The 3rd issue of our Magazine ST ARQUITEC, a publication produced and edited by STRUGAL and aimed at design and architecture lovers, is now available. In this new issue, we address a wide variety of topics, reports, interviews, trends and relevant news in the sector.

Rubén Ordóñez, managing director of STRUGAL, reflects on the challenges of sustainable building and delves into the trends and challenges of sustainable construction in modern architecture.

We interview Gabriel Verd, who talks about how the pandemic has influenced the design of post-COVID housing, highlighting the need to create more versatile and flexible spaces that adapt to new ways of living and working from home.

We present the architectural project for the first private maternity and children's hospital in Andalusia, designed by Peinado Arquitectos, and the 104-dwelling project in Alicante, designed by Chamizo Arquitectos. We also present the residential project in Valdemorillo, Madrid, by OOIIO Arquitectura.

The future of architecture is written by young people like Pablo Diego Pastor, recognised for his innovative and promising approach in this field. We had the pleasure of talking to him to get to know him better. Pastor stands out for his achievements, including first place in the national ranking of Architecture students in Spain in 2020, and is currently part of the Foster + Partners team in London.

The Architecture and Art section is dedicated to the Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofía, in which we take a journey through its spaces over time, looking at its transformation and relevance in the artistic and cultural sphere.

In the Architecture and Life section we travel to Jerez de la Frontera, where we look at how the wine industry has influenced and impacted the urban and social landscape of the city.
